Welcome to the Pinner Flower Lovers’ website

10th June 2022 – We heard some sad news at the weekend that our Founder President, Joan Golland, has passed away.

Joan was a former board member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies. She was also the very first chairman of PFLS, when it was known simply as The Flower Lovers’ Society.

When she stood down as chairman, Joan took on the role of President of the Society and held the unique position of Life President, until later on when it was decided to make her the Founder President.

Her family have informed us that Joan’s funeral will be held on 5th July at 11.45am. The venue is The Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham, Bucks.

Condolence cards can be sent to the family at 49 Azalea Walk, Eastcote, Pinner, HA5 2EJ

See our flower displays at the Queen’s Jubilee Picnic

The Platinum Jubilee Picnic at Eastcote House Gardens took place on Saturday 4th June. What an amazing turnout – around 2,000 people came along to enjoy the market stalls, the food, the music and, of course, the flowers.

PFLS prepared 12 displays which were placed around the grounds at Eastcote House. Click this link to see a selection of these arrangements.
